Shoba-e-Adab, Jamiat Ul Ulama Isna Asharia Kargil Ladakh Celebrates Birth Anniversary of Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) with Grand Two-Day Multi-Lingual Hussaini Mushaira.

Shoba-e-Adab, Jamiat Ul Ulama Isna Asharia Kargil Ladakh, organized a grand two-day Multi-Lingual Hussaini Mushaira at the Isna Ashriya Campus, Kargil, to commemorate the birth anniversary of Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS).
The event commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Maulana Wilayat Ali Fazli, setting a spiritual tone for the Mushaira. Hujjat-ul-Islam Wal-Muslimin Sheikh Muhammad Hussain Mohammadi Salmo delivered an enlightening speech on the life, teachings, and sacrifices of Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS), emphasizing his timeless message of justice, truth, and resistance against oppression.

The Mushaira brought together renowned poets from different linguistic backgrounds, including Purgi, Balti, Shina, and Urdu, who paid poetic tributes to Imam Hussain (AS). The distinguished poets who participated in the event included, Ghulam Nabi Sakat, Kacho Sikander Yabgo, Muhammad Ibrahim Gongma Minji, Fida Ali Karkti, Ashraf Ali Sagar, Muhammad Yasin Ansari, Muhammad Hussain Fayaz, Raza Amjad Budgami, Professor Jawad Jalib Amini, Syed Razvi, Haji Muhammad Ibrahim Rahi and Padma Shri Dr. Akhoon Asghar Ali Basharat.
The event also featured soul-stirring Qasida recitations in praise of Imam Hussain (AS) and his teachings, performed by, Muhammad Ali Hundarman, Irfan Ali Shilikchey, Ali Naqi Pashkum and Akhone Mohammad Baqir Zeeshan.

The Mushaira was presided over by Hujjat-ul-Islam Wal-Muslimin Sheikh Nazir Mehdi Mohammadi, President of Jamiat Ul Ulama Isna Asharia Kargil Ladakh. Speaking on the occasion, Sheikh Nazir Mehdi Mohammadi emphasized the universal message of Imam Hussain (AS), stating, “The lessons of humanity which we received from Imam Hussain (AS) must spread all over the world. The message of Imam Hussain is for entire humanity, and we should try to convey it to the world through different means.”
His words underscored the importance of Imam Hussain’s (AS) legacy in promoting justice, peace, and human dignity.
Incharge of Shoba-e-Adab and renowned Purgi poet, Governor’s Gold Medal Holder, Mohd Taqi Khan Nayab, was also present at the event, adding to its literary and cultural significance.
The event was beautifully anchored by eminent historian and author Master Sadiq Hardasi, adding depth and historical context to the proceedings.
The two-day poetic gathering served as a powerful tribute to the legacy of Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS), bringing together poets, scholars, and admirers of literature to reflect on his sacrifice and the universal message of justice and humanity he stood for.
